Another bee block and a new project
For Stephanie's block in PTQB, she wanted a spiderweb block. It's been a while since I made one, I had to look at the tutorial to refresh my memory. I love this block. It's so easy to put together and uses all sizes of scraps. Stephanie sent the linen for the kite and a bunch of pre-cut strips so it really took no time to put together. It's a good thing my friend Mali has most of my scraps right now , otherwise I'm sure I'd be starting a new project.

Someday I want to try the circle blocks. They look so neat! Love yours. Anxious to see this one all completed!
ReplyDeleteoh and I forgot to ask... when you do the strip quilts (spider web, or any others) do you always paper piece? I have a bunch of 1 inch strips and I was going to toss them. I'm so glad I didn't b/c I think I can use them for a strip quilt. I just didn't know if you had to paper piece or what. I have no idea how to do that.
